If you ever find yourself looking for a breakfast/lunch spot near downtown & the river, this is it. It is a diner in every sense of the word: family owned, small, low-fare extensive menu & cheap prices. Nothing fancy, very casual. Everyday folks come here......like no snobs allowed kinda spot. The place can be busy between dine in customers and carryout. Breakfast food was very good & they give you PLENTY of it. They know how to cook grits too!!! Service was very friendly & fast considering how busy they were.
Good food for good prices! Very much a no-nonsense kind of place, where what you see is what you get- and there is NOTHING wrong with that. I had the coney lunch special, my dad got a cheeseburger. Burger was good, coneys we're delicious, and the fries were awesome! We don't normally like the crinkle-cut fries that much but these were delicious. It's that good (bad) diner coffee that I love! Good signs from the crowd of regulars hanging out! Definitely will be back.
